THE FORUM is recruiting for a hospitality focused Class B Driver to join our team!  Serve as the Community’s class B driver to transport all residents to and from various activities while meeting, or exceeding, Life Care Services hospitality and service standards.
Employment Type: Full Time
Shift Scheduled: AM Shift ( 8:30am to 5:00pm) and PM Shift ( 11:30am-8:00pm)
Hourly Rate: $30.89- $43.94 plus $1 weekend shift differentials.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:
- Picks up and delivers residents to all scheduled activities where bus transportation is needed, while meeting, or exceeding, Life Care Services hospitality and service standards.
- Completes a safety check of the bus before transporting residents to and from scheduled trips or activities.
- Accurately records vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all scheduled transportation.
- Assist residents with any special needs during transportation, e.g., carrying packages, opening doors, assisting residents in and out of vehicles, etc.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
- Always maintain and protect the confidentiality of resident information by following HIPAA regulations.
- Practice positive resident relations by demonstrating Life Care Services and The Forum hospitality and service standards to residents, families, guests, and the general public.
- Practice all safety, loss prevention and infection control procedures.
- Notifies supervisor of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions.
- Makes miscellaneous runs for administration errands as necessary.
- Notifies supervisor of resident concerns, problems, or incidents immediately.
- Attending in-services training and education sessions as assigned.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance as directed.
- Responsible for maintenance and appearance of designated vehicles.
- Transports vehicle to service locations for routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure their proper condition.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school education preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s license (CDLP/Class B) in the State. Must have a good driving record.
- Must be able to interpret and follow map directions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, guests, visitors, supervisors, and employees.
- Ability to perform work with little or no supervision.
- Willingness to work with the elderly.
- Must be Flexible with work schedule and have availability to work some nights and weekends.
