The Apple Pay team is rapidly growing, entering new markets and adding innovative new features to our products. We are seeking a talented product professional to improve Apple Pay and Wallet user experience while enhancing the trust and safety of our users. In this role, you will focus on the end to end provisioning experience, develop new identification and verification features and help combat fraud. You will partner directly with the Engineering, Human-Interface, Trust and Safety, Business Development and other functional teams across Apple. You will also work closely with external partners such as payment Networks, Issuers, Merchants, and other ecosystem players to deliver results.

Description


We are seeking a Product Manager with significant experience building and launching consumer products, deep familiarity with risk and authentication systems, and a strong perspective on how machine learning is reshaping fraud prevention. You will be expected to guide teams leading complex, cross-functional projects and drive progress by diving into technical details when needed while also thinking through the end-to-end experience — from a user tapping "Add Card" to an issuer's risk decision in milliseconds. We are looking for a motivated candidate who wants to build great customer experience and invent the future of identity and fraud prevention.

Minimum Qualifications


Experience building consumer products working with cross-functional teams such as designers, engineers, and data scientists as well as external partners Expertise with payment and identity technology end to end, including card provisioning, identification and verification (ID&V), tokenization, device and behavioral signals, fraud detection, and dispute and chargeback flows; fluency with ecosystem players' roles and strategies (Networks, Issuers, token service providers) Proven ability to impact provisioning and fraud business metrics, such as provisioning approval and step-up rates, fraud rate, and account takeover Working knowledge of how machine learning is applied to risk decisioning — including signal design, model evaluation, and the tradeoffs between precision, recall, and user friction Familiarity with the regulatory environment shaping authentication and provisioning (e.g., 3-D Secure, SCA, evolving identity standards) Effective communicator who can synthesize complex topics, distill key business dynamics, and communicate effectively with senior executives Description Drive innovation in provisioning and fraud that protects users while reducing friction Help envision and build new strategies, roadmap, and product features for the provisioning and risk platform Evangelize and build consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties Collaborate with Human Interface, Engineering, other Product Managers, Legal, Business Development, Marketing, Analytics and Operations to launch products  Develop launch plans, ensure readiness of the various partners Drive adoption and collaborate with strategic partners on product development  Education BS/BA Degree.

You should combine technical proficiency, a strong sense of user experience, business insight, and the ability to navigate the payments and identity ecosystem. You should have excellent presentation abilities and be able to drive a concrete vision and requirements that rally the team and delight customers. MBA or PhD
