Description
You will be responsible for assessing multi-radio coexistence performance across Apple's wireless ecosystem. This role involves hands-on hardware engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven validation to ensure seamless coexistence across a diverse range of radio technologies. You will work closely with RF Test Engineers, chipset teams, and cross-functional partners to identify, debug, and resolve coexistence challenges — from early design stages through final product release.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in electrical engineering. Experience with at least one radio technology: Cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Thread, NFC, or UWB. Knowledge of RF component characteristics and proficiency with lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes. Knowledge of wireless architectures including front-end design, antenna sharing, and link budget line-up. Proven understanding of RF hardware and best practices for system-level grounding, shielding, isolation, and electromagnetic interference mitigation. Experience performing hands-on disassembly and system-level debug at the module, reference board, or system level. Experience debugging and optimizing conducted or radiated radio systems. Solid understanding of fundamental antenna theory. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
