Description


As a Test Engineer on our team, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, collaborating closely with a passionate team to ensure the highest quality for our shared mission. You'll be instrumental in designing and executing test strategies for exciting new features, and your contributions will directly impact millions of users. We embrace continuous iteration and improvement, so you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and refine your skills as we ensure the reliability and performance of Find My. This role will focus on driving, validating, and delivering test solutions. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop critically important test solutions that directly impact the quality of our consumer facing applications. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, writing, maintaining and performing end-end test cases (manual and automation). You will drive all aspects of quality and process improvements to help the team ensure that our features are rock-solid and ready to be released to our customers. Reporting bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques will be the key to your success. This role also requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. You will not only dive deep into solving complex problems, but you will also work closely with partners in various disciplines across the company.

Minimum Qualifications


1+ years of experience in Quality Engineering. Understanding of unit, integration, and regression test methodologies. Experience working with Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch etc.). Work within strict deadlines Collect, analyze, and present results at regular cadence Proactive at navigating a dynamic environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating across many participating teams. Strong problem solving and debugging skills along with a diligent mindset BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications


1+ years of experience in Automation. Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience in Swift/SwiftUI or Objective-C development in test skills. Self directed, analytical and work well in a large cross-functional environment Passionate about learning new skills and technologies quickly and independently. Proficient in resolving complex failures using advanced debugging techniques. Motivated by solving complex challenges. Good understanding of the software development lifecycle. Strong time management and multitasking skills. Self-starter with leadership capabilities. Familiarity with quality engineering environments and test data pipelines. Familiarity with Docker and microservices architecture. Security testing knowledge (API security best practices). Build and enhance API automation frameworks from scratch. Experience using Apple's automation framework: XCTest, XCUI. Familiarity with Docker and microservices architecture. Security testing knowledge (API security best practices).
