Description
In this role, you will be responsible for shipping world-class user experiences and act as the voice of our end-users. As a Quality Assurance Engineer in the Siri Speech Quality Engineering team, you will support the testing of multiple features and drive for quality via hands-on functional testing of user-facing features and systems for Siri. You will be responsible for setting the bar high, going beyond ensuring a great experience, and helping to ship robust and amazing products taking an active role in shaping the quality of our products. This will demand deep integration with our development engineers, devising test plans and user studies, bug triaging, and working with various cross functional teams. The fast-paced nature of the job requires someone who can work well under pressure and quickly adapt new technologies into effective audio testing. We are seeking someone who is intensely curious yet focused on delivering results in a timely manner. An eye and ear for quality is a requirement.
Minimum Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in software test engineering Experience in audio testing, software user experience testing, isolating issues Strong problem solving and debugging skills along with a diligent mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high quality user experiences. Experience creatively building comprehensive test plans, evaluating risk, filing detailed bug reports, and communicating results. Strong passion for quality assurance in software, including developing, extending and maintaining test plans, methodologies. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across various facets of the organization as well as understand technical and interdisciplinary dependencies. Some experience using LLMs is preferred.
