The Graphics, Games & Machine Learning team is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to help shape the future of our GPU frameworks and graphics ecosystem. In this role, you'll lead planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination across engineering teams to deliver robust, high-performance GPU drivers and the Metal framework. You'll work closely with product teams to define, develop, and coordinate the release of next-generation GPU and graphics features across Apple's hardware and software platforms. This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with strong communication, organizational, and technical skills who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, builds trust across teams, and takes full ownership of outcomes from concept to launch. Minimum Qualifications
BS/MS (EE/CS/CE), or a related technical field. 5+ years of program management experience in software, hardware, or systems engineering environments. Strong understanding of and experience in managing complex, cross-functional software projects. Strong technical understanding of operating systems and how the various layers in the software stack fit together.
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Proven PM experience leading graphics/compute API and GPU driver feature development lifecycles (e.g., Metal, Vulkan, DX12, OpenGL). Experience collaborating with Product teams to translate consumer feature requests into technical milestones for graphics and display software. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to dive deep into technical topics and distill the right level of detail for different levels of leadership. Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
