Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology.
  • This position is accountable for operating the C.T. scanner, transportation of patients to and from the
    department, handling telephone scheduling of inpatients and outpatients.
  • The incumbent is responsible for calling the physician with the report of the exam. Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluid.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions. The incumbent must be able to
    demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS computer system.
  • Will participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of
    the department.

Job Requirements:

  • Vocational/Technical education.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) or registry eligible.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience.
