Job DetailsJob Location: Cusseta Travel Center - Cusseta , GA 31805Job Overview: The person filling the Ice Cream Scooper/Cashier position will be responsible for taking orders to prepare and serve ice cream/milkshakes in a potentially demanding environment. Entering purchases using the cash register. This employee will also interact one-on-one with customers and co-workers while maintaining a professional look and demeanor. This employee will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the food preparation area(s). Duties and Responsabilities Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts to customers with a friendly demeanor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scooping area, including equipment and utensils. Operate cash registers accurately, processing customer transactions efficiently. Prepare and serve all offered menu items, while adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers to provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Receive in and stock inventory Follow all company policies and procedures Skills & Abilities: Excellent customer service skills required Knowledge of money handling- counting, receiving, and giving change Must work well with others including the public Willing to learn and maintain proper food preparation practices Must be able to keep clean facilities in the work environment Basic understanding of computers and cash register Must be responsible and flexible Must be detail-oriented Education & Experience Prior food service experience preferred Customer Service experience preferred Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods during shift Qualifications
