Outside Services Professional

Position Summary

The Outside Service Professional plays a key role in delivering an exceptional member and guest experience. This position is responsible for daily outside golf operations including valet services, cart preparation, practice facility setup, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests upon arrival in a professional and welcoming manner

• Manage and operate the valet area

• Prepare, stage, and store golf carts with players’ bags

• Operate and manage the bag storage area

• Prepare the warm-up and practice facilities

• Close and pick the practice facility each evening

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

• Perform minor club repairs as needed

• Conduct monthly inventory

• Maintain the golf cart fleet

• Remain visible, attentive, and service-oriented at all times

• Adhere to uniform standards and report to scheduled station on time

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Qualifications

Experience:

• Previous golf operations experience preferred

Education/Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Valid state driver’s license with clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required

Working Conditions

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods

• Ability to move freely throughout a multi-floor building

• Ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes inclement weather conditions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, balance, and carry items up to 50 lbs

• Ability to push or pull carts up to 50 lbs

• Ability to assist with moving furniture when necessary

• Ability to work with flammable materials, cleaning chemicals, and sharp tools

• Ability to remain active and mobile throughout the shift
