CNC Lathe and Milling Operator

• 7am-5:30pm
• Monday-Thursday (4/10 Schedule)
• Temp to Hire
• Located in Cypress
• $24-$30 DOE

Daily responsibilities:

-Prepare and look for the right material.
-Program set-up in the machine.
-Sharpen tool bites, drill bites, and boring bars as needed.
-Machine parts.
-Cleaning of machine parts
-Safety of the employees and company

Chemical Handling:
Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) for cleaning of machined parts.
Acetone for cleaning of machined parts
Change of coolant and oil

Safety equipment:
Latex gloves
Eye protection
Respirators

Wipe disposal:
Used IPA and acetone wipes can be flammable and proper disposal is required
Used wipes will be placed inside a specified collection container after usage
The collection container must have a yellow hazardous label
Hazardous Label required to have correct description
Used coolant and oil:
Used liquid will be placed inside a specified collection container
The collection container must have a yellow hazardous label
Hazardous Label required to have correct description
Hazardous Material Contingency training will be provided by the Safety Manager within the first six
months of employment and annually thereafter.

Machines, Computers, Equipment used:
1. Lathe machine.
2. Vertical milling machine.
3. Proto Trak and Anilam.
4. Drill press.
5. Bench wringer.
6. Band saw.
7. Die grinder.
8. Surface Grinders.
9. Optical Comparator.
