Clear is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Civil Earthwork and Site Development operations. This individual will oversee a large team responsible for earthwork, grading, underground utilities, paving coordination, and overall project execution across multiple commercial and industrial developments.

This position is for a proven leader, not simply an experienced construction manager.

Responsibilities

Lead all operational aspects of the civil earthwork/site development division.
Develop and mentor project managers, superintendents, and field leadership.
Drive safety, quality, production, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
Establish clear expectations, create accountability, and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Partner with estimating and business development to support sustainable growth.
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
Make timely, well-reasoned decisions based on facts, not emotion.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in heavy civil, earthwork, or site development.
Demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale projects and teams simultaneously.
Strong understanding of estimating, project management, scheduling, equipment utilization, and financial performance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
History of building high-performing teams and developing future leaders.
