Job Summary

This position is for a senior level (IV or V) Integration & Test Engineer to support space -based IR imaging products. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Imaging System Testing and Characterization
  • Significant IR experience
  • Spectral measurement and data analysis
  • Previous experience with IR technology required.
  • Requirements Development 
  • Understanding of Image Processing and Quality Measurement
  • System Troubleshooting (Electrical, SW and Optical)
  • Test Equipment Troubleshooting
  • Matlab Scripting
  • Experience with optical measurement
  • Cleanroom experience
  • Good understanding of QA processes and procedures
  • Customer Interfacing
  • Presentation Skills
  • Technical Team Leadership focusing on AI&T and Task Planning
  • Test Plan/Procedure Development
  • Test Requirements Development
  • Test Setup and Test Performance
  • Proposal Generation, technical write-up, costing, BOEs
  • Identify Capital Equipment needs

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in EE, ME, Physics or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of test experience in aerospace or defense.
  • Experience and understanding of DOD and aerospace test processes.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.  TS Preferred.
  • Some Local and US travel is occasionally required.
  • Significant aerospace or defense industry experience required.
  • Work to be performed in Cypress California under a 9/80 schedule.
  • Some remote work is possible

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

The salary range for this position is $142,230year- $220,813/year.  This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
