System Administrator, Junior

RMC is hiring a Junior System Administrator to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA.

The selected applicant will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience in conducting compliance scans, patches and STIGs to Windows Operating System.
• Experience in providing technical support to resolve issues with Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience in performing system updates and server configurations, to include upgrades of the Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience in implementing changes to locally hosted workstations/servers.
• Experience in Linux operation system is a plus but not a requirement.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience administering Windows Operating Systems.

CERTIFICATION:

• Applicant is required to possess either a CompTIA Sec+, or GSEC, or SSCP or CCNA/Security (Per DoD Directive 8570.01-M or successor, this position requires IAT Level 2 or higher certification).

CLEARANCE:

• An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.  
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $75,000 to $90,000 (annually).
