AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Potomac River Test Range (PRTR) contract in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division's non-explosive open air and indoor test, evaluation, and experimentation for the Test and Evaluation Division (E40) within the Gun and Electric Weapons Department. 



Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is desired but related experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. 

 

Months/Years of Experience: Three (3) years experience dealing with the concept design and engineering,

 

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Requires knowledge of principles and practices of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or systems engineering. Ability to manage various aspects of a project to include technical, schedule, and budget. Ability to work effectively with customers to define test requirements and objectives. Ability to function independently in a dynamic environment with a diverse team.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience is preferred but not required for consideration.

• Strong communication skills to enable effective written and oral communication with all internal and external stakeholders.


Skills Needed:

• Knowledge and comfort working with electronics.

• Strong problem solving, communication and analytical thinking skills.

• Attention to detail.

 

Duties: This engineer will serve as a test engineer responsible for requirements decomposition, test planning and execution. 

 

Comments: Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment. Employees are subject to drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.
