Eldor Automotive Powertrain USA is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Logistics team within our production facility located in Daleville, VA. 


ABOUT THE ROLE

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible to ensure the best working of active and passive order cycles, coordinating the activities of procurement, management of physical flows to production lines, production planning, warehouse and shipping management, transport. 

This is an in-office position with a standard 8A-5P office schedule. 


Daily Mission: 

  • Oversees the organization and optimization of procurement activities and the relationship with suppliers based on purchasing policies defined by the corporate purchasing. 
  • Oversees and controls the production scheduling according to production plans defined both for internal and external departments.
  • Optimizes materials and production planning to drive and increase efficiency in the production lines.
  • Oversees the import/export customs operations. 
  • Strong Knowledge of SAP
  • Responsible for the accounting management of warehouses and for the correctness of the fiscal and administrative documentation related to the goods in and out of the warehouse
  • Organizes transports in accordance with company policies guarantying quality standards and cost optimization. Performs regular reporting on cost trend for premium freight.
  • Coordinates and looks after the professional development of staff in their area (assessment, training, incentives).
  • Collaborates with Quality System in defining and optimizing process and procedures.
  • Looks out the safety and health of workers, verifies the compliance with safety standards and use of personal protective equipment. 
  • Ensures the compliance of activities with environmental policies and procedures (ISO 14001).
  • Other duties as assigned

ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • Bachelor’s degree and above. Combination of greater experience and education may be considered


Experiences Required:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a manufacturing / logistics role
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience in production or manufacturing environment


Technical Knowledge/Skills:

  • Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Proficient in SAP
