Your Opportunity

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our Dallas team as a Project Architect, where you will play a key role in shaping the culture, performance, and design excellence of our Stantec office. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys collaboration, and brings strong technical expertise to a variety of project types.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who can work seamlessly with clients, consultants, technical staff, and internal team members. Flexibility, adaptability, and comfort working in fast-paced, evolving project environments are essential.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage project design development, production, and documentation efforts from concept through construction;
Forecast project needs, establish work plans, and organize team activities to meet schedule and budget expectations;
Identify and resolve design challenges, ensuring compliance with firm standards, protocols, and best practices;
Produce and oversee high-quality architectural and technical details, with a comprehensive understanding of building systems and construction administration practices;
Support on-site construction administration, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and coordinating with contractors;
Maintain a strong understanding of project budgets, schedules, codes, accessibility standards, and jurisdictional requirements;
Manage internal project teams of varying sizes, fostering clear communication and positive relationships with clients, owners, consultants, and contractors;
Coordinate with governing authorities to obtain building permits, complete code reviews, and secure necessary approvals;
Mentor and coach junior staff, promoting professional development and quality standards across the team;
Prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy, organization, and a high level of professionalism.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
