Parts Associate

Tornado Bus Company is currently looking for a Parts Associate ( with Experience). The Parts Associate is responsible for working directly with maintenance technicians on any parts inquiries. Sourcing and purchasing needed parts and ensuring that parts are delivered in the most efficient manner possible.

 JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:                                 

•  Providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers/vendors.
• Work directly with maintenance technicians on parts inquiries.
• Receive and put away daily shipments and weekly stock orders.
• Ability to read and understand part's manual and research online to locate parts.
• Obtain pricing from vendors and issue purchase orders.
• Maintain inventory.
• Input Inventory into system with price,bin location and quantity.
• Ability to process data reports under maintenance system and excel.
• Parts associates are to place stock/emergency parts orders based on inventory.
• Parts associate should be able to use company vehicle to pick up parts when necessary.
• Parts associate will clean and organize parts department before leaving for the day.
• Process warranty tickets.
• Order supplies.
• Run TCEQ reporting on daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership as a direct work assignment.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 - 2 years of job-related experience
• Proficient computer skills
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Medium - Exerting 20-60 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
