Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities to support the company's growth objectives. This role focuses on prospecting, lead generation, and building relationships with potential clients through outbound and inbound sales activities. The BDR works closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and ensure a seamless customer experience. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and the ability to understand customer needs and position solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Identify, research, and engage prospective customers through calls, emails, social media, and networking activities.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities within the CRM system.
- Attend marketing events and distribute marketing material as needed.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects to generate future business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support lead generation campaigns and events.
- Track and report on prospecting activities, lead conversion metrics, and sales pipeline performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.
- Experience with outbound prospecting and cold outreach.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and pipeline management.Â
- Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management Software.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
