About the Role

We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team and support the accurate, timely preparation of project bids and cost estimates. This is an in‑office position working closely with our current lead estimator, an extremely experienced Master Electrician, providing you with hands‑on access to deep technical expertise and real-world field insight. If you enjoy problem‑solving, analyzing plans, and helping drive profitable, well‑planned electrical projects, this role is a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate electrical estimates
• Perform material takeoffs and labor calculations for residential, commercial, or industrial projects
• Collaborate daily with the Master Electrician to validate scope, design considerations, and installation requirements
• Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Prepare detailed proposals, cost breakdowns, and bid packages
• Track changes, addenda, and revisions throughout the bidding process
• Assist with project handoff to operations once jobs are awarded
• Maintain organized records of estimates, pricing, and historical data
• Support continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and processes

Qualifications

• Entry-level to Mid-level experience in electrical estimating, electrical contracting, or a related field
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Proficiency with estimating software or spreadsheets
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
