Embassy Suites Dallas Love Field is looking for a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused Guest Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. If you enjoy creating memorable guest experiences and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.

Position Summary

Your number one priority is to take care of the guests and take care of the business. To clean rooms and halls in hotel performing a combination of tasks. Which maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorts, folds, and carries linens.
• Make beds according to brand standard.
• Replenishes guest supplies and room supplies.
• Moves furniture to dust and clean under.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and other guest areas.
• Sweep and mop bathroom floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaner.
• Dusts furniture and guest equipment.
• Polishes metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Wipe down walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Wash windows, door panels, and windowsills.
• Empty and clean wastebaskets / recycle bins.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies and amenities.
• Report room deficiencies to supervisors and managers as appropriate.
• Complete room list (typically between 12 – 17 rooms).
• All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Use hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy (up to 40 pounds)
• Understand simple instructions.
• Learn simple procedures and techniques.
• Perform routine work or the same task over and over again.
• Must be able to stand and move for 6-8 hours per day.
