Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. seeks Senior Project Engineer in Dallas, TX to lead communication and coordination with clients and consultants on project goals. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: managing structural engineering projects for mid-rise structures; utilizing experience with building codes and structural design codes; liaising with clients and coordinating structure with other disciplines including architecture and mechanical systems; running lateral analysis on mid-rise buildings; designing in multiple materials including concrete and steel; designing concrete and steel floors. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and four (4) years of experience in the skills above. Must be licensed professional engineer in Texas. 10% travel required domestically. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
