Duties, Responsibilities & Other
Position Summary
The Civil Construction Technician performs general construction activities related to telecommunications tower sites and related infrastructure. Responsibilities include site preparation, excavation, foundation work, equipment installation, maintenance activities, material transportation, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Site layout and clearing
- Excavation and grading
- Foundation and slab construction
- Tower assembly support
- Trenching and conduit installation
- Ice bridge and H-frame installation
- Fencing installation
- Aggregate road and compound construction
- Equipment cabinet placement and securing
- Cable installation (fiber, power)
- DC Voltage (Power Plants, Batteries) preferred
- Site maintenance and repairs
- Transport tools, equipment, cabinets, batteries, and materials using company vehicles and trailers when required.
- Maintain company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean, safe, and operational conditions.
- Complete and submit accurate documentation, reports, logs, and project records.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professional relationships with customers and team members.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and federal/state driving requirements.
- Support additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Other duties when required
Travel Requirements
- Extensive regional travel required, up to 100%.
- Overnight travel may be required for extended periods, including multiple weeks at a time.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, maintenance windows, and weekends as business needs to dictate.

Qualifications
Education and/or Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
Education and/or Skills Preferred:
- Highschool Diploma/GED
Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to maintain required certifications.
