THE COMPANY
Our client is a construction firm with offices across DFW, Houston, and Austin, delivering ground-up and renovation projects across commercial, multifamily, and industrial sectors.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The firm is hiring Project Managers across all three markets — leaders who can own a project's full lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout, while managing strong client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts and documents project meetings with clients.
  • Manages construction field personnel, including teaming partners.
  • Negotiates and approves construction change orders.
  • Responds to Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Prepares proposals and presentations.
  • Prepares and monitors project schedules and budgets.
  • Prepares and issues reports and correspondence.
  • Approves quantities for measurement and payment purposes.
  • Approves construction payment applications.
  • Resolves technical issues.
  • Performs constructability reviews and value engineering studies.
  • Leads Risk Management assessments.
  • Prepares and monitors Quality Control and Assurance Plans.
  • Develops Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred); equivalent field experience considered
  • 6–10+ years of construction management experience, including direct field supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of means, methods, and sequencing across trades
  • Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Suretrak preferred.  
  • Completed OSHA 30 class is required.
  • Basic estimating skills preferred.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of accounting and financial management preferred.
