POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACTĀ
Moss'Ā Project ExecutivesĀ are responsible forĀ overseeing all items related toĀ day to dayĀ construction operations including staffing assignments, project plan development, cost and schedule analysis, and owner and subcontractor communications and interface. They will be involved with all phases related to preconstruction, construction, and project close-out. They willĀ be responsible forĀ regular communications for project planning, siteĀ logisticsĀ and coordination with careful attention to security and minimizing disruption to facility operations.Ā
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESĀ
Manages financial administration andĀ establishesĀ project goals andĀ objectives, evaluates project financial performance monthly, promotes and develops āSmart ContractingāĀ
Complies withĀ accounting policies and procedures, providesĀ accurateĀ financial forecasting, maximizes cash flow, meets financial reporting deadlinesĀ
Manages riskĀ in accordance withĀ company guidelines, searches for new ways to improve operating returns and resolves claimsĀ in a timely mannerĀ
Preserves corporate culture and philosophiesĀ
MentorsĀ others, promotes mission and vision, and encourages employee growthāÆĀ
Participates inĀ new hireĀ recruitment, fosters university relationships, and promotes employee referral programĀ
EnsuresĀ compliance with Human ResourcesāĀ policies,Ā proceduresĀ
Participates in business development and advances strategies that align with business unit, analyzes market trends, and analyzes client trendsĀ
Evaluates project risk/reward potential (āGo/No Goā),Ā utilizesĀ āProposing to Winā process, selects project team and resources, and develops specific project approachĀ
Participates in development of proposal, presentation processes, post-award project debriefing and celebrates successesĀ
Leads entire GMP/Lump Sum process,Ā participatesĀ in pre-construction contractual obligations, andĀ complies withĀ pre-construction procedures and policiesĀ
Oversees project operations and monitors for budget,Ā scheduleĀ and profitabilityĀ
Participates in owner/architects/contractor/meetings,Ā monitorsĀ for compliance with contract documentsĀ
Reviews and approves subcontractsā agreements and change orders, and ensuresĀ timelyĀ close-out of projectĀ
Establishes personal professional development plan andĀ maintainsĀ licensing,Ā certificationĀ and registrationsĀ
Maintains visibility with clients, develops effective relationships, services client interim needs andĀ maintainsĀ open lines of communicationĀ
Participates in communityĀ organizations,Ā encourages employee involvement in community activities, assures that project team is sensitive and responsive to community needs, and supports charities and civic organizationsĀ
Maintains visibility with subcontractors and develops effective relationships, monitors subcontractor buyout and negotiations, develops subcontractor strategy for projectsĀ
Perform other related duties as assignedĀ
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEĀ
Bachelor's Degree in construction management, engineering or related disciplineāÆĀ
Minimum 7 - 10 yearsā experience as a Senior Project Manager with a major general contractorĀ
Strong computer skills are a necessity, including familiarity with construction project management applicationsĀ
Strong communicationĀ and interpersonal skills and areĀ requiredĀ toĀ interface directly withĀ owners' representatives, the A/E team, building departments and other team membersĀ
Strong leadership skills are required including, but not limited to coaching, mentoring and the ability to build andĀ maintainĀ motivated teamsĀ
Highly developed project management finance skills areĀ requiredĀ
