POSITION SUMMARY

Join U.S. Venture’s Summer 2026 Internship Program as a Safety Intern! In this hands-on role, you will focus on completing an ergonomic project, gaining practical experience in workplace safety. You’ll collaborate with the compliance team, contribute to important safety initiatives, and develop key professional skills in a dynamic warehouse environment.

U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located onsite at one of our warehouse locations in Texas (Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin or Houston).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work on a summer-long ergonomic project to identify and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with the compliance team to update safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete job safety analysis for various warehouse tasks.
  • Create engaging training videos to promote safety awareness.
  • Shadow safety audits in the warehouse to observe and learn best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • Junior or Senior status preferred.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Keen interest in workplace safety and ergonomics.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; video editing experience is a plus.

  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel occasionally
