Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct comprehensive financial modeling to forecast revenue streams and support long-term financial planning. 

  • Analyze rate and volume metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks impacting enrollment. 

  • Perform gap analysis to compare actual performance against forecasts and budgets, providing actionable insights to the leadership team. 

  • Partner with the Data & Analytics team to leverage Power BI and other analytics tools to create automated reporting solutions. 

  • Support ad hoc financial modeling, business development initiatives, and pricing strategies to drive enrollment growth. 

  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process and assist in preparing monthly performance packages and reports for senior leadership. 

  • Reconcile and analyze revenue-based expenses by program across the University. 

  • Provide ongoing support for monthly close processes, variance analysis, and other ad hoc analysis. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred but not required). 

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within a higher education environment is a plus. 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc., including Power BI, PowerPoint. 

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools. 

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships in a remote working environment. 

  • Problem-solver with the ability to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Understanding higher education financial structures, enrollment drivers, and tuition revenue dynamics is beneficial.
