Copart is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will provide analytical support on corporate development, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.

Responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

  • Provide financial and analytical support for senior leadership and various business unit leaders across the enterprise

  • Support the Corporate Development team and business stakeholders in all acquisition activities

  • Proactively review and monitor business performance and provide meaningful, actionable insights

  • Develop financial forecasts with full integration of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow

  • Monitor business-driven, quantifiable key performance indicators

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of business unit level operational reporting and forecasting

  • Accurate and timely ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration (MBA a strong plus)

  • Minimum two years of work experience across Financial and Accounting responsibilities

  • Ability to interact effectively and confidently with all levels of management

  • Proactive self-starter capable of adapting to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying degrees of urgency

  • Ability to organize and manage large data sets and apply strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset with a focus on financial model development

  • Experience with industry-leading ERP/Financial tools like OneStream, Workday, Workiva, FloQast, or similar

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Leadership skills, including those necessary for effective project and people management

  • Experience with PowerPoint

  • A natural sense of curiosity

Preferred:

  • Multi-national experience

  • Experience with Tableau

  • Experience with SQL
