Overview

Job Purpose

NYSE Texas is seeking a professional, service-oriented Receptionist to support a fast-paced and growing office. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees, clients, and guests, delivering a seamless, professional, and hospitality-driven front-of-house experience.

 

The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Front of House & Guest Experience 
    • Greet and assist all visitors, ensuring a positive experience 
    • Manage guest check-in procedures and security protocols 
    • Coordinate with internal teams for guest arrivals and meetings 
    • Maintain reception area appearance and organization 
    • Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner 
  • Employee & Office Support
    • Support administrative tasks as needed across departments 
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Facilities, IT, Multimedia, and Events 
    • Support catering setup and basic event coordination 
    • Coordinate meeting room scheduling and readiness 
    • Assist with office supply tracking and light administrative tasks 

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • 3+ years of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Professional demeanor and presentation 
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Service-oriented with a proactive, positive attitude 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain at front desk for extended periods 
  • Handle light lifting and office tasks as needed
