We’re launching a new program designed to build the next generation of top-performing business development (BD) leaders at Embark. As an Account Executive, you won’t just be supporting sales — you’ll be learning the strategy, the process, and the hustle it takes to become a Vice President of Business Development. This is a growth path, not just a job. You’ll be embedded with our BD team, helping drive revenue by supporting Salesforce hygiene, proposal development, call prep, and cross-functional coordination. You’ll partner closely with operations and execution teams to help get deals across the finish line and increase the team’s overall productivity. Once you’ve mastered the fundamentals, you’ll enter an apprenticeship phase — learning side-by-side with one of our top BD performers, building your own network and client relationships, and preparing for a successful transition into a full BD role. What You’ll Do Phase 1: Build the Foundation Support the BD team by managing Salesforce data, opportunity tracking, and pipeline hygiene Assist with proposal development, call preparation, and follow-ups Join BD calls and internal strategy meetings to understand how we win Work with operations and execution teams to help move deals across the finish line Drive coordination across internal teams to ensure visibility and alignment Learn our service lines, go-to-market strategy, and what makes Embark different Begin building a strong internal network across BD, operations, and client service teams Phase 2: Apprenticeship Enter a structured apprenticeship with a high-performing VP of BD Shadow and learn firsthand how to run a consultative, relationship-first sales process Begin developing your own book of business with coaching and support Lead select client meetings and drive early-stage business development efforts Refine your personal sales style, strengthen industry knowledge, and grow your network Prepare for promotion into a full Vice President of Business Development role What We’re Looking For Knowledge of Embark’s services and values (or a quick study with serious drive) Excellent multitasking, follow-through, and communication skills A team-first mentality and a deep desire to see others — and Embark — win Grit, hustle, and commitment to growth Proficiency with — or a strong learning curve for — tools like Salesforce and proposal platforms A clear goal of becoming a top-performing BD rep at Embark
