The Account Executive is accountable for developing and implementing comprehensive account plans that delight clients and ensure healthy long-term partnerships. This strategic leader mustĀ anticipateĀ client needs, deliver exceptional results that outperform key performance indicators, and build high-performing teams that achieve operational excellence while driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability.Ā 

Primary ResponsibilitiesĀ 

Exceeding Client Expectations Through Strategic PartnershipĀ 

  • Executes the vision and strategy of the account plan, ensuring clientĀ objectivesĀ and interests are consistently met and exceededĀ 

  • Acts as a Strategic PartnerĀ by connecting teams across regions and services, driving the fundamentalĀ mindsetĀ and bringing strategic direction to complex client relationshipsĀ 

  • Demonstrates Proactive LeadershipĀ byĀ anticipatingĀ where clients are heading and positioning teams for success, connecting dots across organizational silosĀ 

  • Develops,Ā managesĀ and implements Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs to regularly gain input and direction from clients ensuring strategic alignmentĀ 

  • Responds to client issues with expedient, professional solutions that strengthen long-term partnershipsĀ 

Building and Managing High Performing Teams with AccountabilityĀ 

  • Maintains Strategic AccountabilityĀ by staying close enough to major work initiatives without micromanaging day-to-day operationsĀ 

  • Ensures the best qualified candidates are hired for all roles on the accountĀ 

  • BuildsĀ actionable and measurable career development plans for all direct reportsĀ 

  • Drives Best PracticesĀ on account while bringing in external speakers and off-account experts to enhance team capabilitiesĀ 

  • Updates Metro Plans opportunisticallyĀ rather than limiting updates to the contractual two per year requirementĀ 

  • Embodies the firm's values and core behaviors of collaboration,Ā integrityĀ and excellenceĀ 

  • Advances diversity and inclusion priorities through strategic talent moves including hiring,Ā rotationĀ and promotionĀ 

  • IdentifiesĀ andĀ groomsĀ successors to key rolesĀ

  • Presents annual account plans including keyĀ objectives, client satisfaction results, value-add activity summaries, and targeted expansion strategiesĀ 

  • Proactively manages account budgets whileĀ identifyingĀ opportunities to generateĀ additionalĀ revenueĀ 

  • Retains all current business lines and expands the book of business beyond existing product lines or geographyĀ 

  • Mitigates organizational risk byĀ maintainingĀ A/R belowĀ 60 daysĀ payableĀ

RequirementsĀ 

  • 10+ years of Facility Management and Commercial Real Estate executive leadership experienceĀ 

  • Proven capabilities developing outsourced Integrated Facility Management solutions for Fortune 500 companiesĀ 

  • Extensive experience hiring, training, andĀ retainingĀ large teams (100+) in client service environmentsĀ 

  • Demonstrated budget management experience with strategic financial oversightĀ 

  • Bachelor's degree with broad business experience; MBA or post-graduate studies preferredĀ 

  • ExperienceĀ operatingĀ effectively in complex, large, heavily matrixed organizationsĀ

Estimated compensation for this position:

250,000.00 – 275,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
