Job Purpose & Scope
As an Associate Data Product Management, you will be a key contributor in supporting data development activities. The Data Product Management Team focuses on managing all aspects of Bank OZK’s data development life cycle. In the Associate role, you will focus on forging robust partnerships with key stakeholders, understanding their data domain and collaborating with them to drive business initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, documenting, planning, and managing solutions that will enhance the Bank’s business intelligence and analytic capabilities. You will work independently, yet collaboratively, to achieve results on multiple, concurrent priorities.Â

Essential Job Functions
Interface with stakeholders throughout the project and development processes to achieve buy-in and maintain alignment with business initiatives and features.
Develop business requirements, define functional design, conduct status meetings, and maintain post-production support.
Utilize Project Management Office practices and work product scheduling to oversee and drive data development projects.
Work with QA and Deployment teams to ensure smooth and well-documented releases.
Monitor data development processes to ensure data engineering teams and products align with Bank OZK’s Data Strategy.
Work in partnership with data engineering team to manage the team’s Jira backlog and provide prioritization of work efforts, ensuring alignment with the data development life cycle.
Demonstrate initiative and identify opportunities to improve applicable processes and relationships throughout the Bank.
Champion data best practices.
Assess emerging and industry transforming technologies through research, prototype, and development activities.
Maintain robust change management controls in accordance with regulatory and Bank standards.
Enthusiastically embrace, support, and model the Bank’s values and mission.
Ensure compliance with internal/external regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience required
2+ years of work experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, business analysis and/or product management experience required
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to clearly present data and findings to team members and stakeholders
Experience working with data development technologies like SQL, OLAP, SSRS, dashboard reporting, cloud-based data and/or data science is required
