Position Overview:Â
Reporting to the Director of Alumni and Family Engagement, the Assistant Director of Alumni and Family Engagement is responsible for creating meaningful opportunities that connect alumni, students, parents, faculty, and friends with Misericordia. The position leads engagement initiatives that strengthen lifelong relationships, expand volunteer leadership, build affinity communities, support philanthropy, and create measurable engagement outcomes.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.Â
Experience:
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in alumni relations, higher education, volunteer management, nonprofit engagement, event management, or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience managing volunteers and collaborative campus partnerships.
Licenses / Certifications
- Valid PA driver’s license
Work-Related Knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms and their effective use for communication, engagement, and promotion.
- Familiarity with AI best practices.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.
Salary: $47,000 - $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
