Collision Technician Responsibilities:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received聽聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepares vehicles for body repair work聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Notifies management of any additional repairs needed聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials reporting any deviations to management聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains a clean and safe work area聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 Other duties as assigned聽

Collision Technician Requirements:

聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma or equivalent. Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 2-5 Years of collision repair experience.聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽 I-CAR or ASE Certifications are a bonus.聽
