In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. As a Digital IC Design Engineer, you'll architect new class of eUSB2/USB 2.0 hubs, hosts, and bridges for the next generation of AI data center, PC and mobile applications. Â You'll define, design, model and verify digital circuits, which fully meet the performance, power, cost and schedule requirements.Â
As a Digital IC Design Engineer, some of your responsibilities may include:
- Partner with business teams and system engineering to develop mutually agreeable design specifications
- Provide high-level analysis on chip architecture trade-offs to ensure spec compliance and superior performance at a competitive cost
- Circuit design and verification using SystemVerilog.
- Design for microcontroller-based architectures with familiarity with embedded firmware concepts.
- Utilize latest design methodologies for design and verification, including AI/ML-based tools.
- ASIC digital physical design (synthesis, DFT and place-‘n-route).
- FPGA emulation to validate prototype designs for compliance and interoperability.
