SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, the Raw Receiving Clerk is responsible for administrative and clerical functions related to the Raw Receiving Department. Daily responsibilities will consist of ERP, transactions, key performance indicator updates, vendor communication regarding missing or incomplete materials, liaison between purchasing and receiving daily regarding material questions and may assist the Receiving Department in other functions as needed
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily update of Foam Fabrication receipts vs. EDI Schedules.
- Daily pick ticket release and back order updates of all discrete jobs.
- Daily purchasing and receiving roll flow update of missing items per project.
- Daily receiving transaction for Production Requisitions.
- Daily receiving transactions for Customer Service Orders.
- Daily receiving transactions for Deport Orders.
- Liaison between Production and Receiving for all material questions.
- Daily parts and depot follow up and metric update.
- Assist in cycle count process as needed.
- Other receiving responsibilities when time allows.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- ERP Oracle experience/knowledge
- Skill in organizing and managing multiple tasks and projects
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to interact collaboratively with others
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment climate and non-climate controlled.
- Basic ability to operate a computer system (Excel and Word)
- Ability to pass internal forklift certification (written and driving test)
- Continuous walking, bending, lifting
- Lifts products up to 100lbs. using dolly and other material handling equipment
- Operates forklift
- Works in a warehouse environment and in areas not climate controlled.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read basic information and instructions in English
- Basic computer skills (Word and Excel)
- Ability to work overtime as required
