WHAT WE’LL NEED
The Consumer Insights Associate will support Wingstop's strategic growth agenda by helping execute quantitative and qualitative consumer research projects across the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day research activities, including survey programming support, project management, fieldwork coordination, research logistics, and reporting support.
Working closely with the Consumer Insights team, this individual will help ensure research projects are executed efficiently, timelines are met, and deliverables are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in consumer insights and market research. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of research methodologies, business challenges, and consumer insights tools while developing foundational research and analytical skills.
- Support the execution of consumer research projects from project setup through final deliverables
- Assist with survey programming, testing, and launch activities using platforms such as Qualtrics, Zappi, YouGov, and other research tools
- Monitor fieldwork progress and data collection to ensure quality standards, timelines, and sample targets are achieved
- Coordinate qualitative research logistics, including focus groups, interviews, online communities, and participant recruitment efforts
- Support in-person research initiatives such as taste tests and sensory evaluations, including scheduling, participant management, materials preparation, and onsite execution
- Maintain project trackers, timelines, calendars, and status updates to ensure all team projects remain on schedule
- Organize and maintain Consumer Insights team files, research repositories, templates, and documentation
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of surveys, research materials, and project deliverables
- Support custom and turnkey research studies across a variety of business needs
- Assist with DIY research studies and platform management
- Build PowerPoint slides and research deliverables under the guidance of team leadership
- Support recurring research programs, including brand health tracking and customer feedback initiatives
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support project execution as needed
- Stay current on consumer insights methodologies, tools, and industry best practices
- Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Strong interest in consumer behavior, market research, and data-driven decision making
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent follow-through and ability to keep projects moving forward
- Comfortable learning new software platforms and research tools
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities
- Naturally curious with a desire to continuously learn and grow
- Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to support team success
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and other business productivity tools
- Experience supporting research projects, event coordination, project management, or marketing initiatives is a plus
- Restaurant, food service, or CPG experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Consumer Behavior, Business Analytics, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 0-2 years of professional experience in consumer insights, market research, marketing, analytics, project coordination, or a related field
- Relevant internship experience in consumer insights, market research, analytics, consulting, or marketing will be considered
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities preferred
