Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute the strategic vision for the credit research department, aligning with the bank's overall objectives and risk appetite.
Produce comprehensive and actionable credit research reports, presentations, and market commentary for internal stakeholders, including senior management.
Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Present research findings and recommendations to various internal stakeholders and external parties as required.
Ensure adherence to all relevant internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in credit research, credit analysis, or investment research within a financial institution, rating agency, or asset management firm.
Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing credit research teams.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex credit concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Strong understanding of credit markets, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory environments affecting financial institutions.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make sound credit judgments under pressure.
High degree of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Required FINRA licenses
