Job DetailsJob Location: Dallas Campus - Dallas, TX 75204Position Type: Full Time Hourly Non ExemptSalary Range: $17.96 - $17.96 HourlyJob Category: On CampusJob Summary   This position support Campus Operations in Monthly/Yearly Preventive monthly work orders, manages the trash switching of cans for housing buildings and other tasks assigned.    Duties/Responsibilities Switching out compactor cans at housing buildings, including Saturdays Completes monthly preventive work orders Cleans compactor rooms weekly Window cleaning on campus Cleaning work spaces (computer monitors, phones); dusting/cleaning blinds; washing windows (internal and external); washing trash receptacles; cleaning vents, ducts, lights, and overhead items; attending training meetings; complete assigned work orders in a timely manner. To fill in for full-time Custodian II during absence due to illness or vacation Communicate any facility deficiencies to appropriate Facilities and Plant Operations (FPO) personnel.  Follow oral and written instructions regarding safety, administrative and cleaning matters. Listen to and collect information from customers when approached and work with them to meet their needs within scope of responsibility.  Must be available every other weekend for on call emergencies Qualifications Good communication Follow written and verbal instructions Attention to detail Good attendance Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent At least two years related experience preferred Physical Requirements Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds occasionally
