We're working with a global telecom technology leader to hire a Data Application Production Support Engineer. This role ensures mission‑critical data applications and pipelines run smoothly in a distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities
Application Monitoring — Proactively monitor data pipelines, jobs, and
applications.
Incident Management — Diagnose and resolve production issues quickly.
Data Pipeline Support — Maintain and troubleshoot ETL workflows in
Databricks.
SQL Query Optimization — Write, debug, and optimize queries for
performance.
Python Automation — Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
Unix/Linux Administration — Manage and troubleshoot jobs in Unix/Linux
environments.
Azure Cloud Operations — Support applications deployed on Azure
infrastructure.
Distributed Systems — Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.
Collaboration — Partner with developers, data engineers, and stakeholders.

Required Skills
Python — strong scripting & automation
Databricks — Spark jobs, notebooks, workflows
SQL — advanced query writing & optimization
Unix/Linux — shell scripting, job scheduling, monitoring
