Delivery Driver

Miss A Stores is currently seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/Maintenance to join our rapidly expanding team at our Headquarters office in Dallas, Texas! In this role, candidates will be responsible for successfully delivering products to our stores, conduct maintenance work including changing light bulbs/fixtures, plumbing, assembling furniture, etc. Assisting with tasks in the warehouse such as shipping, receiving, inventory, picking, and packing tasks. We are looking for someone who is reliable, efficient, and ready to work in/out-of-state!

Responsibilities:

· Prepare merchandise on pallets, wrap thoroughly, and secure loads into delivery trucks

· Load & unload merchandise into the retail stores

· Maintenance work including changing light bulbs/fixtures, plumbing, assembling furniture, etc.

· Safely drive to our store locations according to the shipment and delivery schedules implemented each week

· Assist with the organization and check in of shipments received at the main warehouse location

· Locate and retrieve product for put away Team to restock inventory picking boxes

· Assist with any other tasks needed within the Shipping, Receiving, Picking, Packing, and Inventory Department

· Perform vehicle safety checks and keep company vehicles clean/tidy

· Cleans and maintains work area neat to prevent accidents and allow for safe movement within the warehouse

· Completes proper paperwork to verify loading and submits to the Warehouse Manager

· Performs other duties as requested by the Warehouse and Transportation Manager

Requirements:

· 1 years’ experience of Bobtail truck driving & delivery

· Must be 21 years

· Must have a valid, non-expired driver's license

· Must be available to travel out-of-state, as needed

· Able to climb, bend, lift (up to 60+lbs), drive, and reach throughout entirety of shift

· Able to regularly use a pallet jack

· Must pass a background check & drug test

· Have sense of urgency and fast-paced, managing milestones with capacity to prioritize/align conflicting demands

· Flexible work schedule, 100% travel required to our retail stores and work outside of standard office hours

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to prolong periods driving, standing, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
