Our retail expansion in main markets starts with hiring not only the best leaders but also hiring a stellar team. As a Design Consultant, you willĀ be responsible forĀ manyĀ facetsĀ of elevating our guest experience with an emphasis on nurturing the growth of our complimentary design service. Your partnership with other Design Consultants will help promote external outreach within the community to support and expand our current market reach. You are the champion of guest engagement so that our guests will experience an inspiring shopping event where they feel empowered to customize their space.Ā
You will report to the Assistant Store Manager.Ā
Where You'll WorkĀ
This role isĀ onsiteĀ and will require you to work from ourĀ Dallas, TX,Ā FrontgateĀ location daily. RelocationĀ assistanceĀ is not available for this role.Ā
What You'll DoĀ
Provide designĀ expertiseĀ for scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), virtual appointments, and "on-demand" design time.Ā
IdentifyĀ and network with local organizations and businesses that wouldĀ benefitĀ from Design Solutions services and provide them with DS marketing materials.Ā
Support the retail store team in varied responsibilities,Ā including,Ā order entry, visualĀ floorsetsĀ and merchandising reinforcement of store maintenance and standards, and product training activities.Ā
What You'll BringĀ
2+Ā year's experienceĀ in interior design, consultation, and event planning.Ā
Space planning skills.Ā
Employ basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans.Ā
Available toĀ workĀ a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ā
Conduct Home Visits with established guests and a valid driver's licenseĀ
