Link Logistics is seeking a Director of Cloud & Applications Operations to lead the strategy, governance, security, and day-to-day operations of our Azure cloud platform and DevOps ecosystem. This leader will manage CloudOps and DevOps teams responsible for Azure operations, infrastructure automation, platform reliability, observability, CI/CD governance, and operational excellence. The role serves as a key partner to Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Application Engineering teams, ensuring cloud services are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cloud Platform Leadership

  • Lead CloudOps and DevOps teams responsible for Azure platform administration and operational support.

  • Own Azure governance, operational standards, platform reliability, and cost optimization.

  • Support application teams by providing scalable, secure, and repeatable cloud services.

DevOps & Automation

  • Own Azure DevOps (ADO) administration, governance, and CI/CD standards.

  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices leveraging Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps pipelines.

  • Establish deployment, release, and operational controls that improve speed, quality, and consistency.

Monitoring, Reliability & Operations

  • Own enterprise monitoring and observability platforms including Datadog, Azure Monitor, and related tooling.

  • Lead incident management, operational readiness, and service reliability initiatives.

  • Administer OnCall and partner with Infrastructure teams on ServiceNow integrations and operational workflows.

  • Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and platform resiliency strategies.

Security & Governance

  • Partner with Enterprise Security teams to implement and govern DevSecOps controls including SAST, dependency scanning, secrets management, and pipeline security.

  • Ensure cloud and DevOps platforms comply with enterprise security, governance, and compliance requirements.

  • Support vulnerability remediation efforts and continuous improvement of security posture.

Platform & Vendor Ownership

  • Own operational administration and vendor relationships for Azure, Azure DevOps, Datadog, Akamai, OnCall, and related CloudOps technologies.

  • Manage product roadmaps, platform investments, and operational improvement initiatives.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Engineering teams to support enterprise technology initiatives.

  • Facilitate Architecture Review Board (ARB) meetings and operational readiness reviews.

  • Establish and report KPIs covering platform health, reliability, security, operational effectiveness, and engineering productivity.

  • Mentor and develop high-performing CloudOps and DevOps teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or related disciplines.

  •  5+ years of leadership experience managing CloudOps, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability teams

  • Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.

    • Proven experience operating enterprise observability platforms (Datadog preferred) monitor design, SLOs, alert tuning, and platform administration.

    • Working knowledge of Web Application Firewalls (Akamai preferred) and edge security operations.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence teams across the organization.

  • Strong understanding of cloud governance, operational excellence, monitoring, security, and reliability practices.

    • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, PowerShell, and automation frameworks.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and translating technical risk into business impact.

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Masters Degree

    • Azure Administrator, Azure Architect, or Azure DevOps certifications.

    • Experience leading enterprise cloud transformation and operational maturity initiatives.

    • Direct, hands-on experience with ASPM and AI Security Tools

    • Familiarity with real estate, logistics, or other data-intensive industries.
