Position Summary

Embassy Suites Dallas Love Field is seeking a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while supporting the culinary staff during breakfast, banquet events, restaurant service, and special functions. The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing exceptional hospitality.

Essential Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas in accordance with Hilton and local health department standards.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, keeping work areas clean and free of hazards.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, storage rooms, walk-in coolers, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries following proper food safety procedures.
• Organize and properly store clean dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and other duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Maintain a positive attitude while working as part of the Food & Beverage team.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Work in a hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to safely operate commercial dishwashing equipment.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
