JOB TITLE:            Document Control Specialist

DEPARTMENT:      Engineering

FLSA STATUS:      Non-Exempt 

REPORTS TO:       Engineering Manager

 

SUMMARY:

Perform the duties of Document Control Specialist. Position reports to the Engineering Manager

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Responsible for creating foam sets and communicating with foam vendors

·       Setting up items in Oracle

·       Creating shells for new models

·       Updating cost information for foam sets and performing costing for new models

·       Creating new Bill of Materials

·       Updating older Bill of materials

·       Implementing Engineering change orders

·       Updating Engineering Backlog

·       Maintaining weekly data regarding Bill of Material quality

·       Involved in the Beta production process

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

·       2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, etc.)

·       Excellent verbal and written communication.

·       Self-motivated and must have excellent organizational skills.

·       Must be an effective Team Player

·       Must be able to Initiate new projects

·       Must have multitasking ability

·       Must be able to work under tight deadlines
