Position Overview At Staxmatic, we prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, subcontractors, and the communities we serve. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Field Safety Coordinator to support commercial construction safety operations and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety plans, and company safety policies. This is a 100% on-site, field-based position requiring daily presence on active construction jobsites. A strong field presence is essential to provide real-time safety oversight, conduct inspections, lead training, and support continuous improvement across all phases of construction. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $85,000 – $100,000 per year, based on experience and fit Monday–Friday schedule Weekly pay with online access to pay stubs Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options Hospital and Identity Theft coverage Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Life, and Accident coverage HSA and 401(k) with company match Company-paid Basic Life, Long-Term Disability, and AD&D insurance Key Responsibilities Monitor daily commercial construction jobsite activities to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, safety regulations, and company policies Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors; recommend, implement, and track corrective actions Support Superintendents, Foremen, and field crews in developing safety-conscious work practices Assist with pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) Respond to incidents, near misses, and injuries; coordinate injury care per company protocols Participate in and support incident investigations and root cause analysis Lead and assist with toolbox talks, safety orientations, onboarding, and site-specific safety training Ensure proper availability, use, and condition of PPE, safety equipment, and first aid supplies Participate in jobsite safety walks with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners Serve as a field resource for OSHA compliance, regulatory requirements, and company safety programs Maintain accurate documentation including inspection reports, incident reports, training records, permits, and corrective action logs Collaborate with the HSE Manager and Safety Director to support continuous improvement initiatives QualificationsRequired Qualifications 5+ years of safety experience in commercial construction or industrial environments Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and hazard control OSHA 30 certification preferred Ability to work independently in a field-based construction environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to train, coach, and influence field personnel Preferred Qualifications Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field preferred Experience working on K–12, healthcare, higher education, data center, or large commercial projects Learn more: www.staxmatic.com
