This role gathers and reviews financial and operational data, prepares recurring and ad hoc reports, and helps identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. The position contributes to accurate reporting, sound planning, and effective support of the company’s financial objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close activities. Analyze income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and other financial data to identify trends, variances, and risks. Prepare budget-to-actual, forecast-to-actual, and period-over-period variance analyses. Build, maintain, and improve Excel-based financial models, reports, and data analysis tools. Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Gather, validate, and organize financial and operational data from internal stakeholders. Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, internal controls, and U.S. GAAP principles. Prepare ad hoc analysis, reporting, and presentation materials for the CFO and leadership team while managing changing priorities and assignments. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic understanding of financial statement analysis and U.S. GAAP accounting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, formatting, data organization, and basic modeling. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in a concise and professional manner. Ability to work effectively with flexible workloads, shifting priorities, and a variety of assignments in a fast-paced environment. Licenses / Certifications No licenses or certifications required. Progress toward a finance or accounting credential such as CFA, CPA, or FP&A is a plus, but not required. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds occasionally. Work Environment Primarily an office environment within the Dallas, TX Support Center. Regular use of standard office equipment, including computer, phone, and printer. Schedule and Compensation Expected Schedule Typical schedule is Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Additional time may be required periodically to support reporting deadlines, budgeting cycles, or business needs. Compensation This is a full-time salaried position.
