Job Summary:

Store Associates – Multi-Location (Floaters) deliver exceptional customer experiences through a focus on partnership while providing support to multiple store locations as business needs require. They work closely with Store Managers, Distributor Sales Consultants (DSCs), and other team members in a positive, fast-paced environment to drive sales, meet business goals, and maintain Salon Service Group's high retail standards. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to travel between assigned store locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment where customers are the top priority and strong partnerships are fostered.
  • Travel to assigned store locations to provide staffing support based on business needs.
  • Perform day-to-day retail operations including inventory management, cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and general store upkeep.
  • Adapt quickly to different store teams, customer needs, and operational priorities.
  • Communicate consistently with Store Managers and Distributor Sales Consultants (DSCs) to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Contribute to sales growth by participating regularly in product knowledge classes and other training opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards of store appearance, including merchandising, product placement, marketing displays, and overall cleanliness.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete sales transactions and balance the cash drawer daily.
  • Properly process returns and discounts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stay current on product knowledge and market trends to provide recommendations and drive sales.
  • Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Cheerful, customer-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Prior retail sales or customer service experience.
  • Passion for the professional beauty industry.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different store environments and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable learning and using POS (point-of-sale) systems and other technology.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays, as business needs require.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between multiple assigned store locations.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand and walk for 8 hours per day
  • Lift up to 30 pounds
  • Regular travel between assigned store locations.
