Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the airside products division in Texas. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive knowledge of sales strategies, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the air distribution industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Distribution Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets for airside products through direct to owner, contractor, engineering, and warehouse distribution sales.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team sales targets for airside products.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the airside products industry.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty for airside products.
  • Product Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of the company's airside products, including air distribution systems, ventilation products, and related equipment, and effectively communicate their value proposition to customers.
  • Customer Interaction and Order Securing: Actively engage with customers through regular site visits, presentations, and feedback sessions to understand their needs better, tailor strategies accordingly, and secure orders to meet sales objectives.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded for airside products.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget for airside products, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives related to airside products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize sales processes and enhance overall performance for airside products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales management within the air distribution industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with customers and partners.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support sales activities for airside products.
