The Job You Will Perform:Â
Â
The Graphic/Structural Designer is a key role dedicated to delivering high quality packaging design solutions and cost savings for the business. Responsibilities include collaborating with customers, sales and production teams along with other designers to ensure project success. This position, as part of the regional design team, manages the needs of multiple plants.Â
Based in DFW Metro supporting the Southern Plains Region.
Responsible for creating and developing quality package designs, specifications, and prototypes to assist Account Managers in sales promotions; investigates and procures all data required to develop the design.Â
Develop artwork, 3D renderings, production art and mockups for all types of design projects.Â
Formulate and communicate ideas for new and/or improved designs by analyzing customer needs and production feasibility.
Use CAD software to create packaging designs, apply artwork and make printed mockups for sales.Â
Be knowledgeable of production machine capabilities in order to assist in the development of design specs.
Provide customer service departments with accurate electronic files to ensure orders are error free.Â
Other graphic/structure related duties as assigned.Â

The Skills You Will Bring:Â
Associate to four year degree with emphasis on Graphic Arts and/or CAD and drafting, or applicable work experience.Â
Competent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in graphics for packaging design.Â
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.Â
Knowledge of flexographic printing and requirements to be considered when developing artwork for corrugated packaging. Â
Attention to detail and technical file preparation skills.Â
Able to deal with ambiguity and problem solve.Â
Creativity and a passion for innovative thinking.Â
Excellent time management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.Â
Comfortable working on your own or in a group setting.Â
