You will...

- Act as a trusted consultant to senior leaders, providing data-driven insights on organizational design, workforce planning, talent development and gaps, etc.

- Provide overall support to employees, managers and leaders in the business: coaching on performance management, accommodations, business conduct, policies, and other HR-related topics.

- Analyze data from various daily activities and projects to identify patterns and trends that can help create, improve processes, or identify areas of concern across your business teams. 

- Design and lead the organization through broad change management efforts associated with the rapid growth of the company and the evolution towards commercialization and product diversification, including operating model evolution, communication structure, process formalization and organizational design evolution.

- Implement high impact performance management frameworks to drive continuous feedback and growth.

- Act as a steward of our culture through growth, ensuring our values continue to act as guiding principles for leaders, managers and employees.

- Partner with the People team to ensure our compensation and benefits remain competitive and support managers and employees  in the understanding of our compensation philosophy and offering.

- Navigate complex people issues with empathy and legal compliance, acting as a neutral party for the business and employees.

 

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in an HRBP capacity within a fast-paced tech environment.

- Bachelor degree or higher.

- Experience coaching management layers (from new managers to senior leadership) to strengthen their management and leadership capability.

- Experience designing and approaching people strategy with an emphasis and understanding of the business strategy.

- Proven capability to effectively provide employee HR consultations.

- Strong analytical skills and logical through processes, with the ability to identify and resolve sophisticated and sensitive HR issues/problems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.

- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.

- Demonstrated experience working in high ambiguity without clear playbooks or processes.

- HR Partnership experience with non-exempt employees, including understanding of key legal and safety compliance elements.

 

Bonus/nice to have:

- Experience supporting operational business teams. 

- Experience working in a start up and/or autonomous vehicle industry.

- Direct experience in designing and leveraging AI in key HR workflows.

The US yearly salary range for this role is: $120,000 - $160,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi US Inc.’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
